Description
There are numerous power stations and heavy industrial plants alongside the Ohio River at East Liverpool and south of it, ruining what must once have been a very scenic area. The industrialisation gradually reduces as you head further south, and once Ohio State Road 7 reaches the Wayne National Forest it becomes very pleasant. Running south from East Liverpool on Ohio State Road 7 Marietta is the first town that we could recommend for an overnight stop.
