"Scenic 7" - Arkansas State Road 7 Through The Ozark and Ouachita Mountains and National Forests

Further south between Russellville and Hot Springs the road passes through the Ouachita Mountains and the Ouachita National Forest.
Both the Ozark and the Ouachita Mountains are scenic. These are not particularly high and spectacular mountains but they are very pleasant. I would suggest that they are not worth travelling hundreds of miles to visit, but this road is certainly recommended if you are in the area.
The Ozark Mountains extend into southern Missouri, eastern Kansas and eastern Oklahoma. The Ouachita Mountains extend into southeastern Oklahoma.
