Visa Requirements
As of January 2019, citizens of the EU, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, and the UK can enter Cape Verde without a visa for up to 30 days. Other nationals need to apply for a visa.

Currency
The official currency is the Cape Verdean escudo (CVE). Euros are also widely accepted.

The official language is Portuguese, but Cape Verdean Creole is widely spoken.
