A church before the heights

Sant Joan de Caselles is a compact introduction to Andorran Romanesque architecture, with a Lombard-style bell tower. Opening arrangements are seasonal; check with the museum service if seeing the interior matters to you.

Two very different viewpoints

The Canillo Tibetan Bridge crosses high above the valley; Roc del Quer puts you on a projecting viewing platform. Both deserve a look at current access arrangements. The bridge uses an official shuttle and a walk, rather than a private-car approach to the entrance.

Let the season choose

Soldeu and the Incles valley offer another side of the parish. Winter sports and summer walks need different plans, equipment and bookings. A trip to Meritxell’s sanctuary is an alternative when your party would rather keep its feet closer to the ground.

A day that leaves room to enjoy it

Visit Sant Joan de Caselles, then choose the bridge or Roc del Quer according to conditions and comfort with heights. Leave time for the shuttle and the walk; the mountain does not check your appointment book.

Allow one or two days, depending on the season.
