Start in the village

Ordino rewards time on foot around its stone buildings and village streets. The Casa d’Areny-Plandolit museum opens a window onto the household and history of a prominent local family. Check the current tour arrangements first.

Follow the valley

La Cortinada is a separate village outing, home to Sant Martí church and the heritage house Cal Pal. The church’s Romanesque murals are a reason to check interior opening times rather than simply driving past.

A quieter mountain day

The Ordino parish includes the Sorteny area. Choose a short walk or a longer mountain route according to conditions and ability. A biosphere-reserve label is a reason to tread carefully, not a promise that every trail is easy.

A day that leaves room to enjoy it

Spend the morning in Ordino and at the house museum, then continue to La Cortinada if its cultural sites are open. Save a larger mountain walk for a day when the forecast and your legs agree.

Allow a day, with extra time for valley outings.
