A waterfall worth a proper journey

Kalandula Falls are a major attraction of the Malanje region. Give the landscape time: different viewpoints reveal the scale in different ways, and weather changes what you can see.

Keep the visit on established ground

Use a locally knowledgeable guide and established viewing areas. Wet ground and unprotected edges deserve care; a photograph does not require a step closer to the drop.

Plan the whole outing

Confirm current road access, the return journey and any local admission or guiding arrangements. Leave time to enjoy the setting rather than rushing the visit between long transfers.

Give the day room to unfold

Arrange the excursion with a reputable local provider, check conditions and return transport, and stay on established access routes.
