Give the gateway a little time

Maun is a working town as well as an air and road connection. Leave time for supplies, a riverside pause and the practical details of the onward journey.

The Delta needs a separate plan

Confirm whether your next camp is reached by air, road or boat, together with luggage limits and transfer times. A Maun hotel is not itself an island safari camp.

Give the day room to unfold

Choose one main outing for each day and leave time for meals and the journey back. Confirm access, transport and any guided arrangements before setting out.
