Location

In addition, there are a number of Provincial Parks in the area, notably Mount Robson Provincial Park (British Columbia), plus various sections of the Rocky Mountain Forest Reserve (Alberta).

Banff, Jasper, Mount Robson, Kootenay and Yoho Parks, together with large parts of Rocky Mountain Forest Reserve, are adjacent and so form one huge area.

Glacier National Park in British Columbia is a completely separate area to the much larger park of the same name in Montana. The Montana park is adjacent to Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta.

Glacier National Park (British Columbia) and Mount Revelstoke National Park are relatively small areas, located west of the main range.
