To get to Maligne Lake from the town of Jasper, drive east on Highway 16 in the direction of Hinton for a few miles, then take the Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake road which runs south. Maligne Lake at the end of the road is 48km from the town of Jasper.
Athabasca Falls lie 30km south of the town of Jasper, on the spectacular Icefields Parkway which runs between Jasper and Banff.
