Stillwater is northeast of the airport (follow the ring road anti-clockwise
and then head east on Minnesota 36). This is a very easy drive. The very
pleasant little town of Stillwater is on the scenic St Croix river, and
has all the usual facilities such as a Walmart and many restaurants.
