Let the boats set the scene

Sandy Ground looks over Road Bay, where boats and beach life share the view. It offers a different atmosphere from an isolated resort bay. Give working areas and boat operations their space.

Food, music and a return plan

Ask what is open during your visit and whether live music is scheduled. The same stretch can feel quite different at lunchtime and after dark. Arrange your return transport before settling in for the evening.

Give the day room to unfold

Combine a meal by the bay with time to watch the harbour. If taking the Sandy Island shuttle, reconfirm the departure point, conditions and return arrangements.
