Start with the island behind the beaches

The Valley is Anguilla’s capital and administrative centre. Wallblake House and buildings around the Old Valley offer a starting point for understanding the island’s history. Check visiting arrangements before planning an interior tour.

A short outing with room to pause

Pair a heritage stop with a meal or time near Crocus Bay. This is a useful change of scene from a resort day; it does not need to become an attempt to visit every building before lunch.

Give the day room to unfold

Choose a heritage visit, confirm its opening, and leave the rest of the outing flexible. The photograph shows Wallblake House in The Valley.
