A different coast
Use the Willikies and Long Bay area for an eastern-island stay. Beach time and an outing to Devil’s Bridge offer contrasting settings, but conditions at one beach do not tell you what the exposed coast is doing.
Keep the two outings distinct
Treat Devil’s Bridge as a viewpoint visit and Long Bay as a separately assessed beach outing. Arrange transport and avoid making the day depend on swimming. The photograph shows Devil’s Bridge, not the hotel beach.
