Choose an unhurried park day

The park protects important natural habitats and evidence of Lucayan history. Allow time for interpretation, boardwalks and the beach rather than arriving only for one photograph.

Cave viewing is not cave swimming

Follow the park’s routes and restrictions. Swimming in the caves is prohibited, and specialist diving requires separate permission and suitable qualifications.

Give the day room to unfold

Confirm current opening and any guided visit with the Bahamas National Trust. The park is a road journey from Lucaya; weather and tides affect the beach experience.
