Begin with the castle setting

The Old Castle occupies a long-used historic site above the river. Its museum helps distinguish surviving structures, restoration and the different periods represented.

A layered town

Leave time between museum stops for the old centre. Confirm visitor access at religious buildings and remember that different spellings, including Hrodna, may appear on maps and signs.

Give the day room to unfold

Choose one main outing for each day and leave time for meals and the journey back. Confirm access, transport and any guided arrangements before setting out.
