Give a stop some purpose

Choose a museum or a guided heritage walk instead of treating an overnight as empty time. The Museum of Belize and the city’s historic buildings offer context for the wider journey.

Know your arrival point

The international airport is outside central Belize City. Water-taxi terminals, domestic flights and hotels are different transfer points. Arrange a reputable transfer and use current local and official advice when planning city movement.

Give the day room to unfold

Choose one main outing for each day and leave time for meals and the journey back. Confirm access, transport and any guided arrangements before setting out.
