Begin with the history

Dockyard’s former naval buildings provide the setting for a substantial heritage visit. Choose time in the National Museum rather than treating the area only as a cruise terminal or shopping stop.

Plan the return before setting out

Ferry services vary by route and season. Check the actual departure and return, or arrange road transport. A hotel elsewhere in Sandys is not automatically within walking distance.

Give the day room to unfold

Choose one main outing for each day and leave time for meals and the journey back. Confirm access, transport and any guided arrangements before setting out.
