A FIRST LOOK · BRAZIL

Brazil on film

Visit Brasil’s destination film offers a first impression of the country’s energy and variety. Choose a few regions for your own journey and give the distances, seasons and local experiences the time they deserve.

Beyond the beaten path

Distinctive places, local traditions and discoveries that reward a longer stay. Give them time beyond a hurried stop.

SEE HOW THE PLACES FIT TOGETHER

Find your way around.

Select a pin or place name to open its guide directly. Gold marks the first-time highlights, teal the places beyond the beaten path.

Orientation only: approximate positions, with leader lines separating nearby places. Boundary data: Natural Earth, public domain ↗. Brazil shown for orientation. Not a road or transport map; this first selection does not cover every region.

Build your own journey

Places to combine in one trip.

Two city perspectives

Combine Rio and São Paulo with separate substantial stays. Add Paraty only with enough time for the road journey and a slower historic-town chapter.

Culture in the northeast

Choose Salvador and Recife for different cultural experiences, with Olinda given its own outing. Use actual flight connections and leave transfer days room.

A northern journey, deliberately

Manaus and São Luís offer very different northern experiences. Connect them only with a realistic air plan and time for separate Amazon and dune-region arrangements.

These are route ideas, not packaged tours or confirmed transport schedules. Adjust the number of stops and nights to your pace; separate transfers need time of their own.

A FEW USEFUL ESSENTIALS

Before you travel.

Choose regions, not a checklist

Brazil’s distances make a few substantial stays more rewarding than a rapid national circuit. Confirm actual flights and airport changes.

Visit Brasil →

Use current park information

Falls, dunes and forest outings depend on access, weather and local conditions. Choose authorised providers and the exact route.

ICMBio protected areas →

Confirm entry for every border

A day visit from Iguaçu to Argentina is still an international journey. Check the rules for your nationality before booking.

Choose a practical hotel base

A beach resort, historic-centre property and airport hotel serve different daily plans. Include the final transfer and evening return.
