A railway journey with time for the places between.

The journey is part of the destination

The Chepe Express runs between Creel and Los Mochis, with stops including Divisadero, Bahuichivo and El Fuerte. These are different bases, not interchangeable names for one resort. Decide where you want to spend time before choosing a train ticket or hotel.

Build the trip around your stops

Divisadero brings canyon scenery into the plan; other stations connect with towns and further excursions. A station stop does not automatically include a tour or hotel transfer. Ask exactly where your accommodation is, how you reach it and what happens if your arrival changes.

Tickets, schedules & overnight stays

Check the official timetable for your dates and direction of travel, then confirm tickets through the railway. This is not a sleeper train. Arrange overnight accommodation separately and verify which stops your fare permits. Chihuahua and Sinaloa can use different local times, so confirm the time shown for each departure.

Check the entire route before booking

Read current advice for Chihuahua and Sinaloa, including the specific railway corridor and any road transfers. Do not treat a permitted rail journey as permission to travel freely through every surrounding area. Conditions and services can change; confirm with official sources and your providers.
