Graz, art & everyday city life
Give the old town, Schlossberg and one collection room to breathe. A market or neighbourhood café provides a different perspective between major sights.
Styria · A useful starting point
City courtyards in Graz, a castle above food-producing countryside, a mining landscape and an abbey beside the Gesäuse reward separate stays. Choose a region before choosing how many stops to fit.

Different places, different kinds of day
Give the old town, Schlossberg and one collection room to breathe. A market or neighbourhood café provides a different perspective between major sights.
Riegersburg works best with a reserved castle visit and one separate food-producer experience. Check the distance and admission slot between them.
Admont and Eisenerz offer contrasting cultural settings. Each deserves its own full day, with a separate plan for national-park or lake outings.
Mariazell combines a pilgrimage town with railway and mountain possibilities. Pölstal suits a slower village-based visit, not a shortcut between distant attractions.
An outline to adapt
Three nights in Graz: arrival and neighbourhood time, one cultural day, then another city chapter or a carefully arranged Riegersburg excursion. Plan a separate northern stay for Admont, Eisenerz or the mountain valleys.

Check the exact station or stop, the final walk or transfer and the last return. For evening events, arrange the journey home before booking the ticket.
Choose the named route and venue facilities that suit your party. A promenade, hilltop castle, cave and mountain trail have different demands. Ask about surfaces, steps, toilets and the full room-access route.
Some appealing rural visits need a bus, booked tour or car transfer after the main rail journey. Confirm the show mine, producer experience or abbey before arranging the rest of the day.
Use the local guides for food planning and selected hotel contacts. Ask the hotel directly about rooms and the complete price. Contact ATA when you would like help arranging group accommodation.
For tour operators & group organisers
Tell us where and when you are travelling and how many rooms you need. Ask about coach access, guided visits, meal times and mobility requirements when arranging the itinerary.
