A shoreline for slowing down

Grand-Popo offers a change from city and museum days. Enjoy the coast without assuming that open Atlantic beaches are suitable for swimming; ask locally about conditions.

The waterways are a separate outing

Arrange the Bouche du Roy with an experienced local guide. Confirm boat safety, lifejackets, tide conditions and the actual route. Villa Karo’s cultural activity offers another side of the area.

Give the day room to unfold

Choose one main outing for each day and leave time for meals and the journey back. Confirm access, transport and any guided arrangements before setting out.
