SEE HOW THE PLACES FIT TOGETHER

Find your way around.

Select a pin or place name to open its guide directly. Gold marks the first-time highlights, teal the places beyond the beaten path.

Orientation only: approximate positions, with leader lines separating nearby places. Boundary data: Natural Earth, public domain ↗. Croatia shown for orientation. Not a road or transport map; this first selection does not cover every region.

Build your own journey

Places to combine in one trip.

A Dalmatian city journey

Choose Split with Šibenik or Zadar, then add Dubrovnik as a separate substantial stay if the route allows. Check actual road or seasonal boat connections.

An Istrian chapter

Pair Rovinj and Pula with time for local food, historic visits and a separately planned Brijuni outing. A few good bases are better than a daily hotel change.

Inland Croatia

Give Zagreb and Varaždin their own cultural stays, then add Osijek as a distinct eastern extension with real travel time.

These are route ideas, not packaged tours or confirmed transport schedules. Adjust the number of stops and nights to your pace; separate transfers need time of their own.

A FEW USEFUL ESSENTIALS

Before you travel.

Choose the actual ferry

Passenger catamarans and vehicle ferries have different ports, rules and schedules. Confirm the operator and your travel date.

Jadrolinija →

Reserve the right park visit

Entrances, routes and seasonal transport differ. Book the actual Plitvice or Krka experience through current official information.

Plitvice Lakes →

Plan the final old-town approach

A hotel inside historic lanes may require steps and a walk from the vehicle. Ask how people and luggage reach the room.

Give the inland regions time

Zagreb, Varaždin and Osijek offer different journeys from the Adriatic. Build the route from actual transport rather than a scenic map line.
